About me
My name is Alice, and I’m French-Swedish. I graduated from the Axelsons Institute in Stockholm in 2025 as a certified wellness massage therapist (friskvårdsmassör). This is the school that trains about half of Sweden’s massage professionals. The 224-hour education includes in-depth studies in anatomy and physiology.
Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked in Sweden as an environmental sustainability researcher. I discovered that I was entitled to a monthly massage at my workplace—at my employer’s expense! Swedes know that massage is about more than just well-being; when used regularly alongside physical activity, it is a powerful tool for maintaining physical and mental health. I felt so good after those massages that I wanted to offer that same gift to others. That is how Nordiska was born: to bring the wonderful tradition of Swedish massage to a wider audience in France.
My mission is to ease your muscle tension, calm your mind, and send you back out into the world smiling and feeling more at home in your own body.
Languages: English 🇬🇧 – Svenska 🇸🇪 – Français 🇫🇷 – Un poco de español 🇪🇸
Fun fact: “Nordiska” means “Nordic” in Swedish!

What makes us special
🗨️ Your comfort comes first: tell me what feels good, what needs adjustment, what you need. I listen throughout.
🌈 We welcome all adults, all gender identities, in a body-positive, LGBT-friendly, judgment-free space. Gender-neutral restroom available. Table capacity: 150 kg.
😌 I specialize in supporting women navigating stress, anxiety, or difficult periods; people with desk jobs; and older adults. Everyone deserves to feel good in their body.
🌿 We care about the planet: all our products are certified organic (massage lotions, cleaning supplies), and we use upcycled towels.
👩🏿🦽 Our space and restroom are wheelchair accessible. Massage is possible if you can easily lie down on a table (70cm × 200cm × 65cm high). Get in touch about seated massage options.
💚 Hypoallergenic massage, perfect for sensitive skin and for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Free from fragrances and essential oils.
🪶 I use cream instead of oil for the massage. It is much lighter: you won’t leave with greasy skin or oily hair, and there is no risk of staining your clothes. You can head straight back to work or go out into town!

Swedish massage techniques
Per Henrik Ling pioneered Swedish massage back in 1813 when he founded the Royal Central Institute of Gymnastics in Stockholm. His methods took off like wildfire and spread across Europe throughout the 1800s. Today, they form the backbone of most Western massage practices. These methods are also the most common in sports massages performed on athletes.
Research shows Swedish massage works wonders: it relieves muscle tension (especially if you’re hunched over a desk all day), melts away stress, helps prevent the risk of burnout, and even helps you sleep better.
This stems from the technique: slow, rhythmic, precise movements combined with moderate-to-firm pressure. We work on a table using just a touch of cream. Thanks to effleurage, petrissage, friction, shearing, tapping, shaking, and compression, your muscles unwind and your mind finds peace.
In the videos below, I demonstrate each technique specific to Swedish massage.
Our massage cream

All our products are free from fragrance and essential oil, which means they’re perfect for sensitive skin and allergies. We don’t diffuse any scents in the space either, for the same reason. Please note, however, that the company responsible for cleaning the premises may sometimes use scented detergents.
Our massage cream is organic, 100% natural, vegan, and gentle on sensitive skin. It is even safe for pregnant people. It glides smoothly, leaves no residue on your skin for the rest of the day and won’t stain your clothes.
